AI ChatBot For Students With Suicidal Tendency

Inspiration: The high suicide rate among students and the lack of accessibility to mental health resources prompted the creation of this project.

What it does: The AI Chatbot provides confidential support for students with suicidal tendencies by listening, understanding and providing helpful resources.

How we built it: We used a combination of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML) techniques to train the chatbot to understand and respond to students' needs.

Challenges we ran into: One of the main challenges was ensuring the chatbot's responses were sensitive and appropriate for the topic of suicide. Additionally, we faced technical challenges in integrating all the necessary components for the chatbot to function.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: The chatbot's ability to understand and respond to students' needs in a compassionate and helpful way, as well as its ability to provide a sense of anonymity and confidentiality for students.

What we learned: We learned about the importance of creating a safe and confidential space for individuals to talk about sensitive topics such as suicide, and the significance of mental health resources in preventing suicide.

What's next for AI ChatBot For Students With Suicidal Tendency: We plan to continue improving the chatbot's capabilities and expanding its reach to more students in need. We also plan to integrate more resources such as hotlines and counseling services to provide comprehensive support for students.
