Inspiration
Many students feel confused about their career choices, especially when they do not have proper guidance. As a computer science student, I have also felt confused about which path to choose. This inspired me to create a simple tool that can guide students based on their interests.
What it does
AI Career Confusion Helper is a beginner friendly web application. It helps students get career suggestions and a simple roadmap by selecting their main interest such as coding, design, data, business, or government jobs.
How I built it
I built this project using basic web technologies:
- HTML for structure
- CSS for styling and layout
- JavaScript for interaction
The user selects their interest, writes a short description, and clicks a button. The app then shows suitable career options and a simple learning roadmap. I also used ChatGPT to understand concepts and detect errors. This helped me learn faster and build the project more efficiently as a beginner.
Challenges I ran into
As a beginner, understanding JavaScript logic and connecting user input to output was challenging. Designing a clean and user friendly interface was also a learning experience. I solved these challenges by experimenting, testing, and improving step by step.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
- Successfully built and completed a working web project as a beginner.
- Designed a clean, simple, and user friendly interface.
- Implemented career suggestions and roadmaps using JavaScript logic.
- Completed and submitted a hackathon project within a limited time.
- Gained confidence in building and presenting a project independently.
