The inspiration behind AI Career Compass stemmed from recognizing the need for a comprehensive tool that could streamline the process of crafting resumes and cover letters tailored to specific job descriptions. Additionally, we identified a gap in providing personalized study plans to help individuals prepare effectively for job interviews in the rapidly evolving field of AI and technology.

What it does

AI Career Compass is a multifaceted platform designed to assist users in enhancing their job application materials and interview readiness. By analyzing both the job description and the user's resume, it generates customized resumes and cover letters optimized for the targeted position. Moreover, the platform offers tailored study plans, ensuring users are well-prepared to excel in their interviews.

How we built it

We built AI Career Compass using a party rock framework. With help of Claude LLM generated the texts using text prompts to produce related texts. Used Claude system to extract key information from job descriptions and resumes, while using this data to generate personalized recommendations. The user interface was meticulously crafted to provide a seamless experience for users at every step of the process.

Challenges we ran into

During the development of AI Career Compass, we encountered several challenges, include to accurately parse job descriptions and resumes, integrating the study plan feature with dynamic content, and optimizing the platform's performance to ensure responsiveness and reliability.
