Small and medium businesses often manage customers, invoices, payment reminders, follow-ups, and daily operations using spreadsheets, WhatsApp messages, paper notes, and manual tracking. This creates delays, missed payments, poor follow-up, and low visibility for management.

SLspecialist BizPilot AI was inspired by the idea of giving SMEs a simple AI business operations assistant that can help them understand their daily business situation, manage customer relationships, track invoices, and take action faster.

What it does

SLspecialist BizPilot AI is a business operations agent for SMEs. It combines AI assistance, CRM, invoice tracking, payment reminders, analytics, and voice assistant features into one simple dashboard.

The system can help users:

  • View customer and CRM information
  • Track invoices and outstanding payments
  • Identify overdue and due-soon payments
  • Generate payment reminder actions
  • Summarize business performance
  • Use an AI assistant for business operation questions
  • Use voice assistant features for faster business interaction

How we built it

The project was designed as a modern AI-powered SaaS dashboard using a full-stack approach. The interface focuses on a clean business dashboard experience with modules for AI Assistant, Customers, Invoices, Analytics, and Voice Assistant.

The concept was built around practical SME use cases such as payment follow-up, customer management, and daily business summaries. Cursor AI was used to speed up development, planning, UI generation, and code improvement.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge was designing a useful business operations tool that is simple enough for small businesses but powerful enough to show real AI value. Another challenge was organizing multiple business modules such as CRM, invoices, reminders, analytics, and voice assistant into one clean dashboard without making the interface too complicated.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a clear AI business assistant concept that solves real SME problems. The project combines CRM, invoice reminders, analytics, and voice-based productivity into one product idea. The dashboard is designed to be simple, modern, and practical for real business users.

What we learned

We learned how AI can be used not only for chat, but also for real business workflow automation. We also learned how tools like Cursor can help developers move faster from idea to prototype by supporting code generation, UI planning, and product iteration.

What's next for SLspecialist BizPilot AI

Next, we plan to connect the system with real business data sources such as Google Sheets, accounting systems, WhatsApp reminders, email reminders, and ERP/CRM databases. Future versions can include automated invoice follow-ups, AI-generated reports, customer risk scoring, and integration with voice AI for hands-free business operations.

Development Update 1 - SLspecialist BizPilot AI is evolving into a Voice-Powered Business Operations Agent

I started building SLspecialist BizPilot AI as my own invention to help small and medium businesses manage daily operations from one smart AI dashboard.

The project is now evolving beyond a normal CRM and invoice dashboard into a voice-powered AI business assistant for SMEs.

Users will be able to speak business commands such as:

Show overdue invoices Generate payment reminders Summarize today's business performance Find customer follow-up tasks Prepare invoice reminder messages

The system is being designed to understand the business request, take the correct action inside the CRM or invoice workflow, and respond back with a natural AI voice.

New planned integrations:

Valsea API for speech intelligence and converting spoken business commands into structured actions ElevenLabs for natural voice responses and spoken payment reminders AI Assistant for business summaries, reminders, and workflow guidance CRM and Invoice Dashboard for SME customer and payment tracking Analytics for business performance visibility Voice Assistant UI for faster hands-free business interaction

This update turns the project into a more practical SME operations assistant, especially for businesses that still depend on spreadsheets, WhatsApp messages, manual follow-ups, and disconnected tools.

The goal is simple:

Make business software easier, faster, and more intelligent by allowing SME owners and staff to manage operations through AI, voice, and automation.

Next step: building the voice command workflow from microphone input to Valsea API intent detection, then to BizPilot business action, and finally to ElevenLabs voice response.
