The frustration of watching talented entrepreneurs and professionals struggle with expensive design software or generic templates inspired us to create a solution. We believed that everyone deserves a professional business card that truly represents them, regardless of their design skills or budget. The rise of AI presented the perfect opportunity to democratize business card design.
What it does
AI Business Card Generator transforms simple text input into stunning, professional business cards within seconds. Users simply enter their information and preferences, and our AI engine generates multiple unique designs tailored to their needs. The app includes QR code generation for digital connectivity, version control for iterative improvements, and responsive templates that work across all devices. It bridges the gap between professional design and accessibility.
How we built it
We built the application using React and TypeScript for a robust, type-safe frontend experience. Firebase provides real-time database functionality and secure authentication. The AI engine integrates seamlessly to generate designs based on user input. We implemented a modular architecture allowing for easy feature additions. Tailwind CSS ensures responsive, beautiful designs across devices. The entire system is optimized for performance and scalability.
Challenges we ran into
Integrating AI to produce consistently high-quality designs while maintaining fast generation speeds was our biggest challenge. We also faced difficulties in creating a version control system that could handle complex design states efficiently. Ensuring the generated HTML/CSS rendered correctly across different browsers and devices required extensive testing. Balancing feature richness with user interface simplicity demanded numerous iterations.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We successfully created an AI system that generates professional-quality business cards in under 10 seconds.
