Inspiration

We wanted to build an AI-powered beauty assistant that makes skincare and makeup recommendations more personalized, interactive, and accessible. Many users struggle to understand their skin type, choose the right products, or visualize makeup looks before buying. GlowAI solves this by combining AI skin analysis, virtual try-on, and generative AI visualization into one seamless experience.


What it does

GlowAI is an AI Beauty & Skincare web app that allows users to:

  • Capture their face using a webcam
  • Analyze skin conditions using AI
  • Detect concerns like acne, dark spots, pores, oiliness, and hydration
  • Receive personalized skincare routines
  • Virtually try on makeup looks
  • Generate an AI-powered “glow-up” visualization
  • Download and share results

The app provides a modern and interactive beauty-tech experience powered by Perfect Corp APIs.


How we built it

We built GlowAI using:

We designed the UI with a premium futuristic aesthetic using deep navy, electric purple, and gold gradients.


Challenges we ran into

  • Maintaining responsive UI across devices
  • Managing async API calls with proper loading and error states
