How we built it

We developed the AI-Based Women Safety App to provide real-time protection and emergency support for women using Artificial Intelligence, GPS tracking, and mobile technologies. Step 1: Problem Identification We identified common safety issues faced by women such as: Traveling alone at night Emergency situations without quick help Lack of immediate communication with family or police Our goal was to create a smart and fast emergency response system. Step 2: Planning the Features We designed the app with important safety features: One-click SOS alert Voice command activation Live GPS location sharing Emergency contact notification AI-based danger detection Audio/video evidence recording Safe route suggestion Step 3: Technology Stack Used Frontend Flutter / React Native for mobile app development Backend Firebase for authentication, database, and notifications AI & ML Python for AI-based voice and risk detection Machine Learning models for emergency prediction APIs Used Google Maps API for live location tracking SMS and notification APIs for emergency alerts Step 4: App Development Process Designed the user interface using Figma Developed login and registration system Integrated GPS and live tracking Added emergency SOS functionality Connected AI modules for voice/panic detection Tested the app in different emergency scenarios Step 5: Testing & Results We tested the application with: Voice-triggered emergency alerts Route deviation detection Real-time location sharing Instant notification delivery The app successfully sent alerts within seconds and improved emergency response time. Final Outcome Our project aims to empower women with confidence and safety through intelligent technology.
