I was responsible for the development of the AI-Based Rockfall Prediction and Alert System for Open Pit Mines.
Designed the project concept and system architecture focused on proactive mine safety
Collected and prepared slope stability datasets (CSV-based, real and simulated)
Performed data preprocessing and feature extraction (Factor of Safety, reinforcement, timestamps)
Trained a machine learning classification model in Jupyter Notebook to predict rockfall risk
Implemented rule-based fallback logic to ensure reliability in real-time conditions
Built and deployed an interactive Streamlit web application with multiple modules
Developed real-time dashboards, trend visualizations, and analytics
Integrated an automated email alert system using SMTP for high-risk conditions
Added an AI Assistant to provide safety insights and recommendations
Deployed the complete solution and prepared documentation, PPT.
