What it does

The AI-Powered Fake News Detection System is a machine learning–based web application designed to identify whether a news article or social media content is real or fake. The system analyzes the text using Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, extracts linguistic patterns, checks writing style, evaluates emotional tone, and classifies the content using a trained machine learning model. The main objective is to reduce misinformation spread, improve digital literacy, and help users verify content credibility before sharing it. This project addresses a real-world problem where misinformation spreads rapidly due to social media amplification and lack of fact verification.
