This project was inspired by the idea of blending modern hip-hop culture with the visual language of classical European baroque portraiture. I wanted to explore how AI can transform familiar artists into completely new historical contexts while still honoring their presence and charisma.
At the same time, I’ve been building cinematic mini-worlds across three major empires:
1) Portuguese Empire — ocean trade, colonial architecture, and maritime power
2) Russian Empire — winter campaigns, Baltic warriors, and dramatic Orthodox aesthetic
3) Ottoman Empire — desert tribes, sultans, palaces, and stylized warfare
Each scene was created to feel like a lost historical epic, where West African tribes, Baltic fighters, and Arabian desert warriors appear as living snapshots of imagined pasts.
This combination of modern music, classical portraiture, and historical world-building inspired me to create a music video that feels both surreal and cinematic.
