Inspiration:-
We noticed that teachers lose valuable class time on attendance, grading, and administrative work. Students also miss timely feedback and personalized guidance. We wanted to build a system that makes classrooms smarter, faster, and more engaging.
What it does:-
Our AI-powered Smart Classroom automates attendance, evaluates assignments instantly, generates analytics dashboards, and provides personalized student insights. It also includes safety alerts for emergencies and better communication between students and teachers.
How we built it:-
We used React.js for the frontend, Express.js for the backend, and Postgres (Supabase) as our database. For scalability, we integrated AWS, Docker, and Vercel. The system leverages AI models for automated grading and smart analytics.
Challenges we ran into:-
Implementing accurate face recognition for attendance.
Ensuring fair and consistent AI-based grading.
Building a real-time analytics dashboard with live data.
Managing integration of multiple modules (attendance, grading, reports) smoothly.

What we learned:-
We learned how to integrate AI into education effectively, manage large-scale data, and design user-friendly dashboards. We also gained experience in cloud deployment, collaboration, and problem-solving under tight timelines.
What's next for Ai Automated Smart Classroom:-
We plan to add voice-enabled AI assistants for students, predictive analytics to identify at-risk students early, and advanced safety features like real-time panic alerts. We aim to expand this solution to universities and schools nationwide.
