Inspiration

Our AI art hackathon project was inspired by the idea of using AI to augment traditional art-making processes. We wanted to explore how AI could be used to generate new ideas and styles for artists to work with, and also how it could be used to enhance and expand upon existing artworks.

How we built it

To build our project, we used a combination of machine learning algorithms and artistic techniques. We trained a neural network on a dataset of paintings and drawings, and then used the network to generate new artworks based on that training. We also incorporated techniques such as style transfer and colorization to further enhance the generated art. We used this along with other art generators to produce the art that spoke to us.

Challenges we ran into

One of the challenges we faced was finding the right balance between human creativity and AI-generated content. We wanted to make sure that the AI was augmenting the art-making process rather than replacing it, and that the final artworks still had a strong human touch.

What's next for AI Art Fusion

Expanding and improving the capabilities of the AI art tool or system. This could involve training the machine learning model on a larger or more diverse dataset, or incorporating new techniques and algorithms to enhance the art generation process.
