Inspiration
As a child, I imagined worlds with flying cars and stepping inside video games. This project brings that sense of wonder to life—a magical forest, glowing creatures, and a hidden world only a bright heart can restore. I wanted to see if AI could help me turn imagination into a full cinematic experience.
What it does
"Go Find the Boy: It's Time" is a fully AI-generated animated short film that tells the story of a boy, Erendor, who follows a magical light into a hidden village and restores fading magic with the power of his heart. The film blends AI-generated images, animations, and voiceovers into a cohesive cinematic experience.
How we built it
We used AI tools for every stage:
ChatGPT for story and image prompts
Leonardo AI for high-quality character and scene images
Hailou AI to animate still images with cinematic transitions
ElevenLabs for AI voiceovers for narrator and SFX
Premiere Pro for editing, sound design, and final assembly
Challenges we ran into
Maintaining character consistency across scenes
Creating smooth animations from AI-generated images
Iterating multiple times to ensure scene continuity and storytelling flow
Accomplishments that we're proud of
A fully AI-generated cinematic short film produced without a professional team
Consistent characters, cinematic transitions, and magical storytelling
Demonstrating how AI can drastically reduce production time from months to days
What we learned
AI tools can now handle complex creative workflows end-to-end
Iteration and combining multiple AI models is key to achieving professional-quality results
Storytelling still requires human creativity to guide AI output effectively
What's next for AI Animation Film
