Inspiration

Farmers and animal owners often struggle to identify diseases quickly and access expert advice. AgroVet AI aims to make agricultural and veterinary support easier and more accessible.

What it does

AgroVet AI analyzes photos or text to identify possible plant diseases and animal health problems, provides basic guidance, and connects users with experts for validation.

How we built it

We built AgroVet AI through vibe coding using Google AI Studio, using AI-assisted development to design and implement the web app, user interface, AI analysis workflow, and core features.

Challenges we ran into

Our main challenges were making the system simple for rural users, ensuring AI does not give overconfident diagnoses, and designing a reliable expert-validation workflow.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a simple AI-powered platform that combines automated analysis with human expert validation and has the potential to support early disease and outbreak detection.

What we learned

We learned that AI works best as an assistant rather than a replacement for agriculture and veterinary professionals. Expert feedback is essential for building a trustworthy system.

What's next for AgroVet AI

We plan to add Bengali voice interaction, real agriculture/veterinary officer integration, location-based outbreak alerts, and a larger expert-validated dataset to continuously improve the AI.
