AgroGuard : A Crop Disease Detection and Management System

Hello, we are team MACROSATIC and we are thrilled to present our innovative concept : AgroGuard.

The problem we are tackling is crop disease and effective response to it. Often, agriculture management is done manual, which means major loss of crop and environmental damage by the help is received. Also, many rural areas suffer from a lack of basic facilities and net connectivity, which makes this problem even more challenging.

Challenges we ran into

A challenge to our technology is the farmers' willingness to use it. This includes their level of technology literacy and initial adoption costs. We plan to address them using user-friendly interface and scalable pricing models.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our idea envisions using advanced image recognition and machine learning algorithms for real-time and accurate crop disease identification.

What we learned

We, in team MACROSATIC, are excited to share our ideation process. While we are not experts in our field, our team puts forward creativity and innovation and combines it with our passion for problem-solving. This project helped us learned about various crop diseases, ways to manage them, and how to prevent them. This way, we hope we've helped our society in one way or the other.

What's next for AgroGuard

We plan to extend our pricing model into subscription-basis with additional benefits. Also, partnerships with agricultural stakeholders will help us extend help to a large amount of farmers in need.
