Inspiration

Growing up in a village we realized large percentage of the crop products produced during the time of harvest by farmers in our village (keta) go to waste. This was because the farmers find it difficult to locate potential buyers and hence the products stay for a longer period which gets spoiled. Also, these farmers lack poor storage and harvesting techniques.

What it does

So we came up with AgroAid technologies, where we address the challenges of crop spoilage by finding potential buyers for these farmers through our social media platforms and also teaching them better farming techniques

How we built it

Was built it with Html Css and Javascript

Challenges we ran into

We realized that we couldn't reach out to 45% of the farmers in our small community because they didn't have smart phones

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud to revive farming business of our farmers and putting smiles on their faces. We extended their farming to commercial bases

What we learned

We've learnt that our passion lies in problem solving and it does matter where you come from .

What's next for AgroAid technologies

Finalizing it into mobile app and using USSD code to reach out to farmers without smartphones
