Inspiration
The idea for AgriTech came from observing the real problems faced by local farmers. Many farmers work very hard but still do not receive fair prices for their crops because middlemen take a large share of the profit. At the same time, buyers often pay higher prices for products that are not always fresh. We wanted to create a simple and practical platform that directly connects farmers with buyers using technology. The goal was to support local agriculture, reduce dependency on middlemen, and make selling easier for farmers.
What it does
AgriTech is a web-based platform where farmers can:
Register and log in Upload crop details and prices Display available products online Connect directly with buyers through WhatsApp
Buyers can:
Browse available crops View prices and product details Contact farmers directly for purchasing
