AgriNova AI was inspired by the idea of combining Artificial Intelligence with Google Cloud technologies to build a scalable platform that can support sustainable farming and improve agricultural productivity.
Inspiration
Agriculture is the backbone of many communities, yet farmers still struggle with unpredictable weather, crop diseases, soil issues, and limited access to expert guidance. We wanted to create a smart AI-powered solution that could assist farmers in making faster and better decisions using the power of cloud computing and intelligent agents.
What it does
AgriNova AI is an intelligent multi-agent farming assistant that helps users:
- Detect plant diseases using AI
- Recommend suitable pesticides and fertilizers
- Analyze soil and moisture conditions
- Provide crop recommendations based on environmental data
- Deliver real-time farming insights through AI agents
- Offer smart decision support for sustainable agriculture
The platform uses cloud-based AI agents to automate analysis and provide accurate recommendations to farmers and agricultural communities.
How we built it
We built AgriNova AI using modern cloud and AI technologies:
- Frontend developed with React.js and Tailwind CSS
- Backend powered by Node.js and Express.js
- AI models integrated for crop and disease prediction
- Google Cloud services used for deployment and scalability
- Cloud storage for managing images and datasets
- APIs integrated for weather and environmental data
- Database support using MongoDB
The architecture was designed to be scalable, lightweight, and easy to use even in low-resource environments.
Challenges we ran into
