🌱 Inspiration

Agriculture is evolving, but many farmers still face challenges with soil health, water scarcity, and crop monitoring. I wanted to design a robot that could make farming smarter, sustainable, and autonomous — blending AI, robotics, and environmental care. That idea became AgriNova, a symbol of innovation for the next generation of intelligent farming.

⚙️ What it does

AgriNova is an AI-powered autonomous robot that monitors crops, analyses soil conditions, and performs precision irrigation. It uses smart sensors, solar power, and drone support to collect real-time data and optimise farming decisions — reducing waste and increasing yield.

🧩 How we built it

The robot was designed in TinkerCAD, combining mechanical engineering with AI logic. We integrated modules for soil moisture, temperature, and nutrient detection, connected to a dashboard that visualises farm data. The system runs on renewable energy and communicates wirelessly with drones for aerial analysis.

🚧 Challenges we ran into

We faced difficulties with sensor calibration, terrain stability, and power management. Each challenge helped us refine AgriNova’s design — improving torque balance, solar efficiency, and data accuracy.

🏆 Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • Built a fully functional 3D model of AgriNova
  • Designed a dual-unit system (main bot + drone) for complete farm coverage
  • Developed AI logic for real-time soil and crop analysis
  • Created a sustainable design powered entirely by solar energy

📚 What we learned

We learned how AI and robotics can transform agriculture. From hardware design to data visualisation, every step taught us how technology can empower sustainability and precision farming.

🚀 What's next for AgriNova

AgriNova will evolve into a network of intelligent farm bots that communicate and learn together. Future versions will include automated seeding, pest detection, and predictive crop analytics — paving the way for a smarter, greener planet.
