Inspiration
Many farmers struggle to find reliable farm workers during critical farming seasons, while many agricultural workers struggle to find job opportunities.
What it does
AGRILINK was created to bridge this gap using a simple digital platform that connects farmers with skilled labor quickly and efficiently.
How we built it
AGRILINK allows farmers to register, log in, and post labor requirements with details such as crop type, land size, number of workers needed, location, and required date.
Challenges we ran into
The application stores requests securely in AWS DynamoDB and provides a foundation for smart labor matching.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The biggest challenges were connecting AWS DynamoDB, configuring environment variables, fixing API errors, handling deployment issues, and integrating the frontend with the backend within the hackathon timeline.
What we learned
What's next for AGRILINK
Built With
- aws-dynamodb
- aws-sdk
- next.js
- react
- tailwind-css
- typescript
- vercel
