Inspiration

Our main inspiration for why we do this project is to help the Agricultural Industry primarily here in the Philippines by integrating emerging technologies such as Web 3 and blockchain to have more secure and efficient processes in logistics.
There are many reasons why integrating emerging technologies in agriculture can be inspiring and beneficial. Here are a few possible inspirations:
Increasing efficiency and productivity: Emerging technologies such as precision agriculture, automated irrigation systems, and AI-enabled crop monitoring can help farmers increase their efficiency and productivity, allowing them to produce more food with fewer resources.
Improving sustainability: Many emerging technologies can help farmers reduce their environmental impact and improve the sustainability of their operations. For example, precision agriculture can help reduce the use of fertilizers and pesticides, while drone-based mapping and monitoring can help identify areas where soil erosion is occurring.
Enhancing food safety: Emerging technologies can help improve the safety of the food we eat by enabling more accurate tracking of food products throughout the supply chain, reducing the risk of contamination.
Promoting food security: By improving productivity and efficiency, emerging technologies can help ensure that there is enough food to meet the needs of a growing global population.
Providing new opportunities for innovation: Integrating emerging technologies in agriculture provides a new frontier for innovation and inspires entrepreneurs and researchers to develop new solutions that benefit farmers and society.
Overall, integrating emerging technologies in agriculture can be an inspiring and worthwhile pursuit that can have significant benefits for farmers, consumers, and the environment
What it does

AgreeCulture App identifies the possible objective to work with. Primarily it will serve as a Market Place wherein users can help farmers to raise funds for them to have sufficient support in the farming process. In return for this, farmers can give them a portion of their product that is proportional to users' support.
Web 3.0, also known as the decentralized web, has the potential to transform many industries, including agriculture. Here are some ways that Web 3.0 could be applied to agriculture:
Decentralized supply chains: With Web 3.0, supply chains can be decentralized, allowing for more transparency and traceability in the production and distribution of agricultural products. This could help increase trust among consumers and reduce the risk of food fraud.
Smart contracts for farmers: Smart contracts could be used to automate agreements between farmers and buyers, ensuring that farmers receive fair prices for their products and that buyers receive high-quality products.
Tokenization of assets: Tokenization can be used to create digital representations of assets, such as land or crops, that can be bought and sold on a blockchain. This could help farmers raise capital and make it easier for investors to invest in agriculture.
Data sharing: Web 3.0 technologies can be used to create a decentralized data-sharing platform that allows farmers to share information about crop yields, weather patterns, and other important data. This could help farmers make more informed decisions and improve their crop yields.
Automated payments: With Web 3.0, payments can be automated using cryptocurrencies or other digital currencies. This could help reduce the cost of transactions and make it easier for farmers to receive payments for their products
How we built it
With the use Xircus Web 3 App it would serve as a Market Place
Challenges we ran into
The challenge that we are facing right now is how we encourage the farmers to adopt this technology such as blockchain and web3 in small businesses from the production and logistic process.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We already have the technology that automates the farming process wherein we integrate robotics and the Internet of things to have a more efficient and sustainable farming process.
Now with the use Xircus Web 3 Application, we are looking forward to working with the process in the logistics.
What we learned
Web 3.0 has the potential to revolutionize agriculture by improving transparency, traceability, and efficiency in the supply chain, as well as enabling new business models and opportunities for farmers.
What's next for Agrifuture
The future of agriculture is likely to be shaped by several trends and developments. Finding the right technology and platforms would be the very key to implementing successful ideas. Constant communication would be a great thing to work with the farmers for them to appreciate technology such as NFT, blockchain, and Web 3 apps.
