AI-powered crop identification using multimodal satellite data, fine-tuned for India’s small farms, enabling accurate, scalable, and explainable insights for farmers, policymakers, and insurers.
We hve been working hard on AgriFusionAI, our AI-powered solution that uses satellite data to identify crops across India’s small and diverse farms. Here’s how the journey is evolving:
What’s New part for me :
Added fusion of SAR + multispectral + ISRO ResourceSAT data → stronger crop detection, even under cloud cover.
Fine-tuned geospatial foundation models with real Indian field data → better accuracy for small fragmented farms.
Introduced Explainable AI (XAI) → farmers, insurers, and policymakers can now clearly see how and why a crop was identified.
Built a scalable, India-first pipeline → ready for applications in crop insurance, subsidy planning, and yield forecasting.
Why It Matters : AgriFusionAI isn’t just about tech—it’s about making AI farmer-friendly, transparent, and impactful. From supporting policy decisions to empowering farmers on the ground, we’re building a system that bridges space intelligence with local agriculture.
Stay tuned for more updates—we’ll soon share architecture snapshots, sample outputs, and pilot test results!
