Agricure - The Farmer App

Inspiration

In India , Majority of People are associated with farming And if the plant is affected with any disease, Whole crop gets damaged and It brings Farmers a huge loss, Which makes survival difficult with a lot of loans and problems.

What it does

it using TensorFlow API and Detect which disease the plant is suffering from with the help of a datasets of images collected from various resources.

How I built it

I have used imageai and TensorFlow library to train a AI model, which then is used as a part of simple App, Which tells , The disease plant is suffering from.

Challenges I ran into

Being a Secondary school Student, It was a bit difficult for me to learn about Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, But when i started to explore this Field, I got to know how much interested i am into these works. And with the help of many resources online, I started to work on the project.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I am proud of myself , that i was able to fully train a model And it was able to differentiate between the images and it was also very fascinating working on this project in this Rookiehacks Hackathon.

What I learned

During this hackathon, I explored a corner of world of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence And also learned how to use python Programming language for more applications. And also I learned That I have A lot more to learn then the Secondary school Computer Science.

What's next for Agricure - The Farmer App

For now I am planning to work on my front-end Development skills , then I am thinking to Make it a front end and launch it as a working application , which will be free and open to use for everyone.
