Inspiration
As our population grows we need more food so we created a software to optimize crop yields
What it does
We have a subscription that will analyse the soil and climate of the farm to give personalized results
How we built it
We used Flask, CSS, HTML and Python to create a website and feedback tool
Challenges we ran into
This was our first time building a website so it was very challenging learning about HTML, CSS and JS. Also we were not able to create a UI for our optimization tool in the time frame.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of how the website came out and that we were able to finish the hackathon.
What we learned
We learned a lot about front end development and CSS, HTML and JS. In addition we did a lot of research on crops and farming.
What's next for CultivaTech
In the future we want to improve the website, add more animations and information. Also we want to make a UI for the optimization tool.
