Inspiration
Freshwater is a finite resource and agriculture is a large source of water withdrawals globally.
What it does
Using crop field size and data on crop water usage our app calculates the amount of water in gallons that would be needed to cultivate the crop for one harvest.
How we built it
We built it using HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
Challenges we ran into
Due to time constraints we had to downscale our original plan.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of the user interface and having a usable product.
What we learned
We learned a lot about version control using Git and expanded our javascript knowledge.
What's next for Agricultural Water Usage Calculator
We want to expand the amount of crop available using a database and add a feature to put the water usage into perspective.
