Inspiration

In my country Zimbabwe we had this event called trade fair ,when investers and people with business ideas meet and the topic we had this year was "making Zimbabwe the bread basket again"and on this topic we had problems like trade passport and maintanance of crop for someone new to the industry

What it does

It allows farmer who is confused on whats happening on his farm e.g he doesn't know which pest eating his crop ,why they wilting ,and then it tells him what to do about it .It also has a built in trade passport system ,it creates a trade passport for user who logs in ,stores their data which was was obtained from their farm by our Google earth engine in the secure MangoDB database .Allowing for farmer to not worry about trade passports and make transactions between buyer and seller smooth, the trade passport can not be forged because data will be matched against data in database

How we built it

Using cursor and help from Gemini ,We learnt a lot that I didn't know from one project .Our front end was built completely with Streamlit ,We integrated the next-generation Google (gemini-3.5-flash) via strict system instructions.Powered by a MongoDB Atlas cluster. We designed an automated back end pipeline that synchronises real-time farmer data models on login and commits verified crop batches into an immutable transaction ledger .implemented dynamic data-matching verification layers to flags conflicts between user inputs and historical database parameters. Use ReportLab's flowable design engines to dynamically compile transaction records from MongoDB, embedding automated marketplace QR validation codes into printable, high-fidelity PDF "Digital Harvest Passports."

Challenges we ran into

We had time challenges ,faced with our A levels this year we had to find a way to balance our studying and programming ,

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We Learnt how API's work ,how to create a functional app ,How to integrate a database into a project ,All this at no cost

What's next for Agri-Sensing hub

Offline-First SMS/USSD Diagnostic Channel ,Since structural internet connectivity can be a barrier for remote farmers, we aim to deploy a lightweight, text-based fallback loop. Farmers will be able to text queries or field codes via simple SMS/USSD protocols, which will trigger the cloud agent to run its diagnostic script and text back crisp instructions in real time. For Agri-Sensing hub to be the system everyone is using as a trade passport system and help with you own crop
