Agniparikshya

Inspiration

We have seen fire emergencies happen in Kathmandu and their ineffective mitigation. Plenty lives lost, along with huge resources depletion. We want to prevent that.

What it does

In layman's terms, our system will clear optimal path for fire brigade while making sure that the vehicles in that area are effectively routed to destination avoiding traffic jams.

How we built it

We used OSM data and used python libraries and SUMO for simulation.

Challenges we ran into

Bad data availability.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to get close to what we initially intended.
