Inspiration
We wanted to build a simple game for everyone to play. We chose to make it Aggie themed so people could learn and test their knowledge about Texas A&M.
What it does
It displays a Hangman game and keeps track of your wins and losses. A win is considered correctly guessing the word, while a loss is being unable to guess the word.
How we built it
We used VS Code and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We also shared it with each other using a GitHub Repository. We used Figma to help with the CSS.
Challenges we ran into
We had zero experience prior to this. We were stuck trying to implement Python, so we had to switch over to JavaScript. It was also only the two of us.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of how much we learned, and the fact that we even got a website to upload.
What we learned
We learned basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We learned a lot about web development, and also how to use Figma to help format our CSS.
What's next for Aggie Stickman
Adding a beach theme (reason why there is a zip file), adding a timer to make it a little more difficult, a better way to "score" such as adding more points based on correctly guessing with less attempts, adding more design to the Aggie themed Hangman.
