Inspiration

Difficulty in prototyping for my current startup. Software has become easy to create thanks to tools like Bolt, but hardware remains very technical. I thought this must change, as great ideas can be in hardware or software.

What it does

Produces a step-by-step process that allows users to bring their idea to life within minutes, also checking for feasibility in reality. Democratises the physical prototyping journey by not requiring any technical knowledge, with an intuitive UI.

How we built it

Bolt was used for designing front-end and setting up the backend with stripe and supabase. Cursor Text2CAD's multi-modal inputs(Eleven labs and Tavvus AI), OpenAI, Claude, Bing/google search for grounding, patent search using google and AR features Pica for sending out mails to manufacturers Algorand for tokenising user designs and claiming first to patent. Entri-Ionos for domain using netlify to deploy RevenueCat for monetising mobile app

Challenges we ran into

Making stripe and Supabase talk was an issue, as setting up stripe needed config.toml for authorisation headers, took a while to figure this out. Writing OpenAI GPT write meaningful code that generates meaningful output that is relevant to cad

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Deploying first website with custom domain, also the many additional features added alongside are a huge plus and experience

What we learned

Persevere and be consistent. AI can complicate things; you should know what you're doing, or you'll waste time otherwise.
