Inspiration

Traditional film pre-production is fragmented, slow, and heavily reliant on disconnected tools for scriptwriting, character design, and visual storyboarding. We wanted to bridge this gap by creating an autonomous, AI-driven studio that empowers creators to bring their cinematic visions to life instantly.

What it does

Agentic Cinema Studio is an end-to-end web application built for filmmakers and content creators. It features:

• Dynamic Script & Scene Generation: Automated scene breakdown and professional screenplay formatting.
• Character Development: Deep narrative profiling and background creation.
• AI Visual Prompts: Generates high-detail prompts optimized for AI art and animation tools.

How we built it

• Core Framework: Python with Streamlit for a fast, responsive, dark-themed cinematic UI.
• AI Engine: Powered by Google's google-generativeai (Gemini model) for advanced text generation and prompt structuring.
• Deployment: Hosted live on Streamlit Community Cloud and managed via GitHub.

Challenges we ran into

Balancing the complexity of multi-step cinematic workflows with a clean, fast user interface required careful prompt engineering and state management. We also refined the output layout using custom CSS to give it a true Hollywood dark-mode aesthetic.

What we learned

We mastered integrating generative AI models into reactive web applications and learned how crucial structured prompt engineering is for maintaining narrative and visual consistency in film production.
