Inspiration
In the evolving landscape of intelligent commerce, we noticed a gap in seamless financial automation—particularly in areas like AI-driven shopping, payroll, and affiliate systems. AgentForge was born to bridge that gap by empowering developers to build autonomous agents that can think, transact, and scale commerce workflows with ease.
What it does
AgentForge is a platform for building autonomous AI agents that automate intelligent commerce processes. Powered by the Payman AI SDK, it enables developers to rapidly deploy agents capable of:
- Handling customer shopping via AI chat
- Automating invoice generation and payments
- Running payroll through smart contracts
- Managing affiliate bounties
- Auto-splitting revenue based on contributions
- Scheduling tasks and reviews via agent-driven calendars
These agents operate within a smart, Web3-friendly interface and offer real transaction support.
How we built it
- Frontend: Vite + React + TypeScript
- UI Components: ShadCN/UI with TailwindCSS
- State Management: React state with options for context/Redux
- Deployment: Vercel
- SDK Integration: Payman AI Wallet SDK for transaction support
- Smart Contract Logic: For payroll, bounty, and revenue share execution
We structured the agent logic with customizable workflows to integrate real-time financial actions based on user and task inputs.
Challenges we ran into
- Designing programmable agent workflows that are both flexible and secure
- Ensuring seamless real transaction handling through the Payman SDK
- Managing asynchronous financial events like invoice triggers and salary payouts
- Building a UI/UX that balances power with developer usability
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Successfully deploying agents that can trigger payments, process refunds, and execute payroll autonomously
- Creating a modular architecture for adding new agent capabilities via SDK hooks
- Enabling revenue-sharing logic that is programmable and transparent
- Building a complete end-to-end platform with calendar integrations and task automation
What we learned
- The importance of modular SDK design in financial systems
- How AI agents can simplify complex transaction workflows
- Efficient state handling for real-time UI updates in financial apps
- Challenges and best practices in deploying Web3-friendly apps on Vercel
What's next for AgentForge
- Expanding support for third-party integrations (Stripe, Plaid, etc.)
- Launching a marketplace for pre-built agents
- Enabling user-defined agent behavior via a low-code editor
- Adding multi-agent coordination logic for collaborative workflows
- Scaling to support enterprise-level financial operations
