WebMCP Map is an interactive world map built for people and AI agents to use together. Type “take me to Paris,” search for a landmark, or enter coordinates to fly to a location and save a pin. Your map position and saved places stay available between visits.
The project connects AI conversations to visible actions through WebMCP. It exposes structured tools that let a compatible agent search for places, control the map, add multiple pins, and read the current view. An agent can turn a request into something you can explore on screen.
Built with JavaScript, MapLibre, and OpenStreetMap-based geocoding, it runs as a lightweight static website with no backend or API key required. It demonstrates how websites can give AI agents useful controls, opening up more interactive ways to explore places, learn geography, and plan trips.
