Inspiration
I read through the Agent Orchestrator and found two tracks. I found track 1 intresting as it involved building, evaluating and also giving the agents ability to self improve itself in the domain for which its created without any extra training.
What it does
This project builds an agent architecture, evluates it, keeps track of metrics to compare its different versions while it's self improving and at the end, give an agent on a domain user has asked in.
How I built it
I built it using Agent Orchestrator as the main body. I first created starter files then handed it over to the Agent Orchestrator as sessions / session workers for each separate task. I later integrated Neatlogs into the project using the Orchestrator to do it as the prompt to include Neatlogs was quite long for the session worker's task. First was to diagonise and fix the errors in the starter files, then I created another session to improve the memory quality of the project to compare the improvement and then add learning curves. Last was to add a UI to it.
Challenges we ran into
First challenge was to find a free way to use coding agents. Tried Claude code but it required subscription. Then used Opencode for the Agent Orchestrator integration. After that integrating Neatlogs took a lot of time as I was unaware how to use it. Then with the help of support group, I was able to integrate it in my project.
How AO supported my build
AO is the main part of this project. The developement of the project staring from diagnosis of the started code, improving it, adding learning metrics, improving the memory quality and then testing and builidng the dashboard was done using AO. These tasks were done as separate worker agents and I have used 4-5 sessions which were orchestrated by an AO orchestrator. It also fixed my code, handled errors it had and very helpful during the build. It also helped me to create PRs, merge them and also resolve conflicts before merging which was very helpful.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
This is my first hackathon and taking part and exploring new things was amazing. I'm proud that I created a good project and submitted it. The team of Agent Orchestrator, Neatlogs was very supportive and helpful during the hackathon
What I learned
First thing I learnt is getting used to new tools and frameworks without prior experience in it hwich is quite new to me. I learnt creating agents, using orchestrator and workers and also logging traces using Neatlogs. Overall, I learnt a lot from this hackathon and this was really great taking part in this hackathon.
What's next for Agent Builder
Yet to figure out as I'm new to building agents but would love to extend this and make this better
