Inspiration

Procrastination and poor time management are common issues among students. These issues inspire our AI scheduling project that automatically manages a calendar for them and assist them in managing their tasks and due dates. The project also allows users to provide feedback upon their calendar about the intensity and how they deal with stress factors.

What it does

Our project AgendaAce provides students with an AI assisted, flexible calendar that helps them manage tasks and due dates. Students could input tasks & to-do list items and events that they have to attend. With AI, we provide them with advice on what they should do at a given time among the multitude of tasks that they have to get done.

How we built it

During our production, we used Sqlite, Python, Flask, CSS, and HTML to build our website. We used Python and Flask for backend development and scheduling features, and we used CSS and HTML for front-end development and webpages.

Challenges we ran into

We encountered many challenges along the way. We had to get everyone on the same page with using GitHub and Flask. We had problems on the front end and applying the CSS. We encountered problems with Sqlite regarding many debugging issues and database functionalities not working.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have successfully designed our web pages. We designed a working model of online scheduling.

What we learned

We gained familiarity with Flask and Sqlite. We learned how to use proxies to obtain URLs.

What's next for AgendaAce

We are looking forward to further maintaining and implementing AI. We are also expecting to receive user feedback in the future for more flexible calendar options.
