Inspiration

As an agency, we receive requests to revamp websites using modern tools and technologies. Many of these projects don't include design work. I began searching for a solution that would enable us to streamline the process of working with such clients and deliver top-notch results. I decided to try Bolt to revamp Varbintech's homepage and see if it's suitable to incorporate for our clients.

What it does

It's a modern landing page for an agency featuring sleek design elements and a straightforward way to schedule calls. The page showcases our SaaS and E-commerce services through vibrant visuals, smooth animations, and clear messaging that converts visitors into potential clients.

How we built it

I used Bolt.new as our primary development tool, iterating through multiple prompts to achieve the desired outcome. The process involved refining the design elements, implementing custom animations, integrating booking functionality, and ensuring responsive behavior across all devices.

Challenges we ran into

The first result was good, but far from ideal. It contained the wrong color palette, incorrect icons, and an incorrect logo - like an ugly duck. I needed to iterate over 30-50 prompts to add the logo, icons, links, color palette, animations, and integration with a booking service. Regarding animations, Bolt wasn't able to implement them directly. I had to find the animations I wanted, add them to the prompts, and adjust as needed.

What we learned

It's remarkably easy to prototype and revamp landing pages with modern tools. The initial version was created in under an hour. This rapid prototyping capability will undoubtedly enhance our client work, enabling us to deliver high-quality results more efficiently.

What's next for Agency Homepage 2025

I plan to reuse several sections implemented by Bolt.new in our homepage:

  • Custom animations for enhanced user engagement
  • Integration with a booking service for streamlined client onboarding
  • The client testimonials section to build trust
  • Improved scroll behavior for a better user experience
