Inspiration
Influencer marketing has become a powerful tool for brands, but it also comes with major limitations: lack of control, unpredictable results, brand safety risks, and high dependence on individual creators.
At the same time, many small and emerging brands—especially women-led businesses—struggle to access consistent visibility and professional storytelling online.
We were inspired to rethink the model entirely: instead of relying only on human influencers, what if brands could collaborate with AI-powered digital influencers designed strategically from the ground up?
This idea led us to create Agencia Valu, a project focused on building hyperlocal AI influencers that combine cultural authenticity, storytelling, and data-driven strategy.
What it does
Agencia Valu designs, develops, and manages AI-powered hyperlocal digital influencers that help brands communicate their message in a more strategic and scalable way.
Instead of temporary collaborations, we create digital characters that function as long-term media assets.
These AI influencers:
Produce culturally relevant content
Build communities around shared identity and storytelling
Collaborate with brands through structured campaigns
Provide more predictable and measurable marketing outcomes
Our goal is to make influencer marketing more strategic, safer for brands, and scalable over time.
How we built it
The project combines AI tools, creative storytelling, and audience strategy.
Our process includes:
Character creation We design digital personas inspired by Colombian culture and local communities, defining their personality, voice, and narrative.
AI-assisted content production We use generative AI tools to create visual content, scripts, and storytelling assets that allow the influencer to remain active across platforms.
Content strategy We plan narratives and posts designed to build engagement and community over time.
Data-driven iteration Audience behavior, engagement metrics, and feedback guide future content and collaborations with brands.
This combination allows us to treat influencers not just as creators, but as scalable digital media properties.
Challenges we ran into
One of the biggest challenges was balancing technology and authenticity.
AI can generate content quickly, but creating a believable personality requires strong storytelling and human creative direction.
Another challenge was defining trust and transparency when audiences interact with AI-generated influencers.
