Inspiration
When personal computers were first introduced, games were one of the main driving forces behind their growth in power and popularity. The computer boom of the 80s and 90s happened largely because people wanted better gaming experiences. Today, games can once again push a major new technology forward—blockchain.
What it does
Ageless Republic is inspired by multiple RPG titles. The core loop is familiar: players fight monsters to collect better weapons and armor to fight stronger monsters to collect better weapons and armor and so on. While the combat aspect is similar, the way players acquire gear is different. In Ageless Republic, weapons and armor aren’t collected—they’re crafted. All items are created by players from materials they gather throughout gameplay. The quality of crafted items depends on several factors, which can ultimately be grouped into two main categories: skill and luck—just like real life.
Every crafted item is stored as an NFT on the BSV blockchain. Players can use these items in-game, trade them, or give them to others. Each item is truly unique, making it a perfect fit for NFTs. Most items have low stats and, naturally, low value. These can be traded for far under $1—even under a single cent. That’s where Ageless Republic takes advantage of blockchain micropayments.
Trading in-game items is a major part of Ageless Republic. Whether it’s a legendary sword or a raw ore, every item is transferable and tradable, creating large-scale opportunities for fast, cheap, and highly scalable microtransactions.
But there’s more. Even the best products need users, and player acquisition is one of the biggest challenges for modern software companies, who may spend over $10 to acquire a single player. That money usually goes to marketing companies and provides little value to the people developers actually need—players. Ageless Republic flips this model by directly rewarding users for trying and playing the game. Something that was previously impossible—sending a fraction of a cent across the world—is part of the game now. Ageless Republic pays players small MNEE rewards when they play and level up. Early levels take minutes, while later levels take hours, and players earn micro-rewards along the way.
Players can select to get payments in MNEE 1sat or MNEE ETH-based payouts. Other payment mathods might be added in the future.
How we built it
Ageless Republic is a mobile MMORPG available on Android and iOS. It's is build in Unity 3D / C#
Challenges we ran into
Building a good product requires time, dedication, skills and money. It's hard to collect it all in one spot
Accomplishments that we're proud of
As of November 2025, during pre-beta testing, we are creating about 500 payout transactions daily. In just under two months of testing our reward system, we processed roughly 10,000 transactions for 325 different players—and that number continues to grow. Everything has been working exactly as designed, with zero failed or lost transactions so far (fingers crossed).
What we learned
What's next for Ageless Republic
Ageless Republic is still in active development, but it has progressed well past the MVP stage. It’s a live, playable game that players enjoy—and naturally complain about, because it’s not fully finished yet. Your support in selecting us as a winner in this hackathon would help us accelerate development and bring Ageless Republic to full release much sooner.
