Everybody loves their parents and grandparents. Doctors and nurses are working incredibly hard to help them with healthcare. But never underestimate the work relatives put in: Bringing them to the doctor, explaining a diagnosis with limited knowledge or monitoring their health state are just some of their daily challenges.

We want to help the families and AgeCare does exactly that! It organizes appointments, driving opportunities and streamlines health data. Making coordination easier for everyone involved!

What it does

Elderly patients simply speak to an AI assistant to book, change, or cancel their medical appointments, without needing to handle complex apps or forms.

The AI agent listens to their spoken request, checks doctors’ schedules, resolves conflicts, and books the next possible appointment automatically. It then collects transcripts from recent visits and generates an easy-to-read summary based on them.

With the patient’s consent, AI agents notify selected relatives about new or changed appointments and share summarized updates on the patient’s condition. Relatives can see upcoming visits, coordinate transport, and stay involved without needing to log into clinical systems.

How we built it

The whole app is built in Swift and SwiftUI capitalizing on deep integration, consistent design languange and most importantly accessability features. To coordinate AI-Agents via AWS we set up a dedicated server in python.
