Inspiration Flying can be very stressful, especially if you have a limited amount of time to make a connecting flight. Travelers are focused on catching their next flight and don't have the time to buy the things they want. AgDash was created to solve this problem.

What it does

AgDash is an airport delivery service for travelers who have little time between flights and still want to shop in the airport. We allow travelers to browse the inventory of airport stores and order from them before they land. Once their plane arrives their order will be ready for pickup from one of our lockers.

How we built it

We used flask and some javascript to build the backend and HTML for the front end.

Challenges we ran into

We didn't know flask, so we had to learn it and figure out how to build the backend. Also, we are all first time hackers and were pretty lost at first, but were able to figure things out with the help of mentors, especially Edward.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are all beginners and are pretty proud that we managed to put together a somewhat functional website.

How to power through an engineering problem and learn new things to solve the problem. Flask, JavaScript, and HTML.

I specialized in doing HTML. I was the only one in my group who had previous experience with HTML, so I was able to provide the templates for the webpages and helped with the syntax that connected the front end to the back end.

Future plans for AgDash: receive text notifications with code and locker information. Also, have option for items to be delivered directly to seat on next flight rather than in a locker.
