AfterVersed – support after loss

Inspiration

The last thing one wants to do while mourning the loss of a loved one is to handle the extra weight of paperwork and administration. We created Afterversed to help people stay closer to themselves, while we take care of the rest

What it does

Afterversed is composed of multiple AI agents that guide users through the daunting tasks after the loss of their loved ones. We use AI agents to make all administrative protocols easier, which includes contacting banks, government offices, drafting documents and automatically filling online forms.

How we built it

We used Python and the Strands-agents framework to make agents and create our own tools on the backend. Typescript, React and CSS were used to create a stunning frontend with FastAPI and uvicorn connecting everything together.

Challenges we ran into

Consistency - Trying to work for 24 hours straight without sleeping is definitely troublesome

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We got our agents to work well together, and each accomplished its purpose. The frontend design and user interaction were also done beautifully, providing a great experience.

What we learned

Connecting agents together is a difficult task to complete but it yields powerful results, helping each other out as a team during tough times is very important.
