Inspiration

"I love pdf", which was our inspiration to create this ".AfterDot" project we wanted to make an offline version similar to it.

What it does

The ".AfterDot" program converts word to pdf, pdf to word, pdf to text, pdf to jpg, jpg to pdf, jpg to png, png to jpg, and pdf merger. It also stores the number of times the program was used to convert files in Excel, which is called the POINTS.

How we built it

python for the program and Excell for the database to store the POINTS

Challenges we ran into

Bordered PDF could not be converted to Word because the border was converted to an image and overlapped (hiding) the text in the Word document.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

To create a fantastic app all by ourselves in such a low duration of time.

What we learned

While programming we learned that to convert pdf to jpg using ASPOSE we need a membership to convert them without having the ASPOSE logo in our jpg
