Creating affordable housing for people to own instead of renting. Demystifying the home ownership system in Nigeria for individuals/families and eradicating the renting norm that people are used to.

Inspiration

The Affordable Home owners concept evolved from the pains of paying huge renting fees yearly to landlords and after several years tenants still get kicked out of the apartments .It will be nice to rather be paying for the acquisition of the property for years rather than paying for rentage. This is one of the key areas of focus in Nigeria i.e House ownership struggle via land acquisition and building.Which a lot of people focus on achieving for a lifetime by saving up chunks of funds to accomplish this feat in their lifetime.With this concept ,home ownership will be easy and no longer burdensome like before .It will also boost the lifespan of people ,health, good enviroment ,socio-economic developments of the country.

What it does

VISION :To create and promote affordable ownership housing in Nigeria rather than renting The idea is to help you towards owning a property instead of focusing on renting a property. This will reduce the quest to rent and increase demand for house ownership plan .

How I built it

We will do property valuation for each landlord or property owners for price and worth of property. They will be enlightened on how they can make fortune in real estate in a shortwhile than waiting for donkey years for the land to appreciate before they make good profits on it.This will encourage them to build more houses for ownership and not rentage anymore. House models will be based on self con ,flats duplex, mansion etc, e.g with minimum monthly contribution of #50,000 monthly for 2 years which will amount be #1.2 million people can acquire properties of their choice in diverse locations. (plus the value of the land per location). Also , premium locations will be available .e.g Lekki, Ikeja,Victoria-Island, etc.based on the house models and structures. This will revolutionize real estate in NIGERIA, instead of buying lands and holding for years without constructing it and renting out for stipends , you sell it out and earn great returns and build more. Only listed and verified properties will be processed.

Challenges I ran into

Getting the ideas sorted out to become a marketable one, getting active team members,getting front-end and back-end soft-ware developers.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Being able to finally turn an idea to a solution that solve peoples problem and the enviroment.

What I learned

Persistence,dedication,teamwork, resilience and commitment gets the work done.
