Inspiration

The "no experience, no job" cycle frustrates students everywhere. We built Aether to break this loop by connecting learning directly to earning.

What it does

Aether predicts high-demand skills, delivers 2-3 hour learning sprints, then provides immediate paid micro-tasks. Students build income and portfolios simultaneously while our AI auto-matches them with internships.

How we built it

Frontend: Next.js 14, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS Backend: Python FastAPI, PostgreSQL AI: Real-time market analysis and skill prediction Features: Learning sprints, micro-task marketplace, auto-internship matching

Challenges we ran into Real-time API integration, responsive UI animations, deployment optimization, and creating seamless user flows from learning to earning.

Accomplishments we're proud of Building a fully functional platform that actually pays students while they learn, with real AI-powered skill prediction and automatic internship matching.

What we learned Full-stack development, AI integration, user experience design, and how to solve real student problems with technology.
