Traditional pulmonary screening relies on expensive, bulky spirometers that are hard to access outside of clinical settings. We wanted to democratize respiratory health by turning any standard smartphone microphone into an intelligent diagnostic tool capable of screening for obstructive pulmonary conditions through breath-acoustic analysis.
What it does
AeroFlow.ai analyzes breath sound profiles to screen for signs of airway obstruction. By capturing audio frequencies and processing them via acoustic AI algorithms, it delivers rapid, non-invasive risk assessments directly from the user's device.
What we learned
We gained deep insights into biomedical signal processing, edge-AI feasibility on mobile hardware, and the massive potential of acoustic screening in preventative digital health.piration
