Aerial

Aerial is made up of two applications. One made for the iPad, and another built on OS X. The iPad app allows for users to connect to, and autonomously control their AR Drone. The purpose behind the application is to provide emergency services personal with the proper tools and software to be able to deploy a drone to map a storm ravaged area after a natural disaster. Using the modified Front/Down facing camera on the AR Drone, the application will collect a series of images and videos that will help create a single "panoramic" image. Once the drone has returned to your current location, you would be prompted to load the data from the drone via USB into the OS X app. This application would import all the images and videos to create a single panoramic image that could be then distributed via email to other members of the emergency services team.
