Aegis

Inspiration-

Observing other people interact , and talk to each other I had the inspiration to build something that would help and counter discriminatory arguments and comments , a initiative that can be take by people themselves.

What it does- It has two functionalities,

FIRST- one where people can chat with each other , sharing their experiences, people who want to discuss ideas and provide opportunities to people who lack it SECOND-An ai where people can practice against discriminatory statements, understand their meaning and reply accordingly.

How we built it-

We used Next.js,node.js,tailwind css, along with typescript and used Appwrite for backend and google gemini flash 2.0 for ai bot.

Challenges we ran into-

Challenges like how to integrate AI into , few things to keep in mind for production environment and implementing proper user authentication flow.

Accomplishments that we're proud of-

Being able to make the basic web app for our first hackathon submission is an achievement for us.

How to work with AI apis and BAAS.

What's next for Aegis-

implementing more robust chat system and resource sharing capabilities.
