What it does## Inspiration

With the rapid integration of LLMs into production environments, the surface area for "Prompt Injection" and "Adversarial Attacks" has expanded. I wanted to build a shield that doesn't just block, but actively tests and hardens these systems.

What it does

Adversarial Shield is a framework designed to automate the red-teaming process for AI agents. It stress-tests system prompts against known injection patterns and provides a security score to help developers harden their implementations.

How I built it

The project leverages Python-based scripts and a library of adversarial datasets. I used specialized prompt engineering techniques to create "attacker" profiles that simulate real-world exploits against target LLMs.

Challenges I ran into

One of the biggest hurdles was minimizing "false positives"—ensuring the shield doesn't block legitimate user queries while remaining vigilant against subtle, multi-stage injection attempts.

What I learned

I gained a much deeper understanding of how different model architectures react to adversarial pressure and how crucial the initial system prompt design is to the overall security posture.
