Inspiration

I travel often, and I'm not too keen on always doing the touristy things. I much prefer experiencing a city through the eyes of a local. I've always found that the best way to find unique things to do or simply things that only locals would know about is by staying on the outskirts of the city rather than downtown. I should probably mention that I'm also fairly introverted, and I enjoy gaming, particularly MMORPG games. I was inspired to combine my love for gaming and adventuring in an app. Whether it's the local bar that hosts wet t-shirt contests on Saturday afternoons or discovering a local heavy metal show or meeting friends on Final Fantasy Online, I want this app to embody the spirit on adventuring.

What it does

AdventurePro is a dual lifestyle and gaming app that works in tandem to transform the world into an epic playground. Whether you're looking to break routine, explore your city, or simply get out of the house, AdventurePro makes it fun and rewarding. The app combines real-world adventure with fantasy-style gameplay. Users take on individual adventures and quests, a set of individual adventures whereby the user cannot see the next one till they've completed the previous one. Adventures range from a user post about a beer from a bar across town to the gallery that just opened midtown to creative missions to community engagement and local exploration. As you complete these adventures, you earn points, unlock gear, and use that gear to level up your virtual character in the arena. While in the arena, your avatar can battle other users or friends and earn more points that can be used to create adventures. AdventurePro isn’t just about solo achievement. It’s built for connection, competition with friends, joint team quests, and sharing wins in a vibrant in-app community. You're leveling up as you complete adventures, you're creating adventures of your own, you're sharing new places and things around your city, and best of all, you're rewarded for it. The rewards come in a virtual loot box and can contain a range of different things like a free pie, a strong defense yielding armor for your avatar, a concert ticket, more points, and new features. The more you adventure, the more you level up, the more fun you have. Businesses can also download AdventurePro! Once validated, they'll be able to receive notifications when a user creates an adventure using their name, they'll be able to add rewards to adventures created using their name, they'll be able to collaborate with other businesses and create quests, and they'll be able to engage in the experience of AdventurePro themselves. As users level up and unlock features, they'll gain new features, like the ability to create action based adventures rather than location-based ones, they'll be able to form clans, collaborate with businesses, steal or trade with others and many more features. Whether you're battling boredom, looking for motivation, or simply want to experience life as an adventurer, AdventurePro turns your world into a quest worth taking.
