Inspiration: Transform bedtime stories into personalized AI-generated video experiences that bring every child's imagination to life.
What it does: Creates custom video storybooks for kids: input a theme, get a complete story with AI-generated visuals and voice narration—all child-safe and personalized.
How we built it: Claude AI (Anthropic) - Story generation Freepik API - Video scene creation ElevenLabs - Voice narration Custom moderation - Content safety React + Node.js - Full-stack app
Challenges we ran into: Syncing video timing with narration Managing multiple API rate limits Ensuring 100% child-safe AI outputs Reducing generation time (currently 2-3 min/story)
Accomplishments that we're proud of: Chained 4 AI services into one seamless pipeline Built robust child-safety filters Created our first complete narrated video story Intuitive kid-friendly interface
What we learned: Multi-API orchestration, prompt engineering for video consistency, async processing, and AI content moderation for children.
What's next for Adventure Tales: Interactive story choices, multi-language support, parent analytics dashboard, mobile app, and educational story themes.
