We were all having a conversation of how we feel unsafe while travelling and booking hotels. That's when we thought of this idea, to build an app that helps us travel with ease and have resources in our pockets to make adventures safe and extra fun.
What it does
1) Helps to Navigate new places through Maps 2) Suggests Hotels, Cuisines, Places to visit 3) Learn Local/cultural norms through videos section 4) Keeps you updated with the latest Trends 5) Sends SOS alerts to family and friends instantly 6) Helps you learn about low crime areas t 7) Helps you rate your vicinity 8) Shows Vicinity Safety Ratings
How we built it
We build it using React-Native / expo.
Challenges we ran into
We were all from different cities and it was hard to communicate at first. We are also from different backgrounds of tech. We had to learn from flutter from scratch and it was challenging. But we ended up with a good project.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of learning flutter ,react-native and making a decent app with really nice features. And beautiful UI designs.
